Erasmus+ Days 2025 Celebrated in Bosnia and Herzegovina – Focus on Higher Education
The Erasmus+ Days 2025 event, dedicated to higher education, took place on November 7, 2025, at the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Organized by the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the National Erasmus+ Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina, this year's program highlighted Erasmus+ actions in higher education, including Erasmus Networks and examples of best practices.
Representatives from universities, ministries, and international organizations involved in Erasmus+ projects and academic cooperation gathered for this important event. Mr. Suad Muhibić, the Head of the National Erasmus+ Office in BiH, opened the event by presenting the various actions and opportunities available within the Erasmus+ program for Bosnian higher education institutions.
Among the invited speakers was Dr. Nađa Beglerović, Manager of the Office of Sponsored Projects at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS). She discussed IUS’s activities within the Erasmus+ program, and her presentation was well received, showcasing the university's active participation and successful implementation of Erasmus+ initiatives. Dr. Beglerović highlighted best practices at IUS, detailing different projects, international partnerships, and mobility initiatives that have strengthened IUS’s role in fostering international cooperation in higher education. The event reaffirmed IUS's commitment to the Erasmus+ program, promoting excellence, innovation, and collaboration among universities in the region and beyond.
