The Matrakçı project, coordinated by Associate Professor Muhammed Yasir Göz is an educational initiative in Bosnia and Herzegovina inspired by the legacy of the 16th-century polymath Matrakçı Nasuh. Focused on enhancing STEM education, the project offers hands-on workshops aimed at fostering critical thinking, creativity, and technical skills among Bosnian students. Supported by the Turkish Ministry of National Education and the Istanbul Directorate of National Education, the workshops provide resources to help students improve their abilities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. In addition to developing technical skills, the project seeks to inspire students by connecting modern education with the achievements of historical figures, promoting a generation capable of tackling future challenges with innovation and analytical thinking.
