The TEF Project, co-funded by the European Commission, aims to modernize tourism VET by strengthening teacher upskilling and introducing innovative learning activities for students.
As part of the initiative, the IUS Lifelong Learning Center is supporting student participation from the High School of Catering and Tourism Sarajevo in the TEF Blended Skills Competition, beginning in November. Conducted partly online and partly in person, the competition enhances students’ culinary, sustainability, teamwork, and creativity skills while also improving teachers’ digital pedagogical competencies.
Participants from six countries will collaborate in transnational teams, with the final round for students from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, and Portugal taking place in Fátima, Portugal. Project partners include institutions from Italy, Spain, Belgium, Greece, Portugal, and the Netherlands, namely Apro Formazione, CDEA, EfVET, Orizon VET Centre, INSIGNARE, Landstede.
