Project Summary

Optimization of Air Purification Technologies in Classrooms through Measurements and CFD Simulations, coordinated by Dr. Muhamed Hadžiabdić, is an 8-month initiative funded by UNDP and the EU, supported by project partners ENOVA d.o.o. and InventoPro d.o.o. that focuses on evaluating the efficiency of air purifiers in classrooms during the fall and winter, when pollutant levels are high in urban areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project will involve comprehensive indoor air quality measurements within classrooms, along with outdoor measurements of surrounding areas. Its goal is to optimize air purification processes to improve air quality during pollution peaks. Various air purifier configurations, positions, and settings will be tested to find the most effective methods for reducing indoor pollution. The results are expected to offer practical solutions for enhancing air quality in educational institutions, which could also be applied to other public facilities
