CyberFort is a 36-month European Commission–co-funded project dedicated to advancing cybersecurity education within VET systems and SMEs. Following the online kickoff meeting on 13 January 2025, representatives from IUS Life participated in the first transnational meeting in Istanbul (9–10 April 2025), where partners aligned on objectives and initiated work on a Cybersecurity Competencies Framework and an accompanying training curriculum.
The project brings together eight institutions from Turkey, Albania, Greece, Portugal, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, working across seven work packages to strengthen digital resilience and foster innovation. IUS Life also hosted the 2nd Transnational Project Meeting in September 2025, focusing on project management, dissemination, and the introduction of WP3 on developing an ECVET-aligned cybersecurity curriculum.
Through sustained collaboration, CyberFort aims to equip educators, students, and SMEs with accessible tools and knowledge to address Europe’s evolving cybersecurity challenges.
