The International University of Sarajevo (IUS) is a partner in EUROCYBER NEXUS, a Horizon Europe project that strengthens cybersecurity innovation and helps small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) prepare for the EU NIS2 Directive. Funded by the European Union and managed by EISMEA, the project runs from September 2026 to February 2028.
The consortium is coordinated by Friuli Innovazione (TEC4I FVG) and includes Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, EIT Manufacturing South, the Regional Development Agency of the West Region Romania, AREA and IUS, representing Finland, Italy, Romania, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The partners map regional cybersecurity ecosystems, support peer learning between regions, and co-create a Joint Interregional Roadmap 2026–2028 with shared priorities for investment and cooperation.
